As a Rangers fan I enjoyed some good years with “The Thrill”. He has always been one of my favorite Rangers and if you can say the Rangers ever had a “Golden Era” he was part of it.
Dude, I was at that game! I believe the Astros lost 8-3 if my memory serves me correct. Opening Day of the ’86 season. Pretty sure Nolan Ryan was pitching. I can remember a Giants player exchanging balls with the fan in center who caught Clark’s home run ball so they could give it to him. This is Mitch from Ausin, btw.
